My door speakers on my CLK320 soft top have got damp and don't sound so good these days. I need some help from you guys as to the best and cheapest way to replace them. The car has an upgrade to Bose so perhaps Bose speakers would be a good idea? Clearly not the cheapest option though. All advice welcomed. Happy Christmas!

Would it be worth trying to get the car near a dehumidifier or place some of those passive dehumidifiers (beloved of caravanners) in the car for a bit. I'd be hoping that the speakers would then dry out and improve. Would be a bit rubbish for the speakers on a convertible to not be able to take a bit of moisture.
Don't go to cheap otherwise you'll lose the sound quality, they're 17cm speakers most decent audio shops will have some in stock or be able to order some.
