My CLS is driving me mad!

When you drive along it sounds like there is something stuck in the passenger vent. When you stop it stops, set off again and it comes back. Switch the heating off and it disappears, put it back on and it comes back.

It's driving me mad!

Any ideas???

check the microfilter is fitted correctly

I had a buzzing noise which was very annoying because some of the techicians could not hear but i must of be like Batfink luckly some other people could hear it
they replaced the fan and it went away

I had similar in my SLK so it could be the same issue.

As I understand it, in the SLK the drainage holes can get blocked and water backs up to the heater/aircon motor which then squeaks like you've got mice!

I had to get the motor replaced which cost around £200 to £300 from memory.

Hopefully your issue is easier/cheaper.
