CLS 220D / 350d

ok, so I'm 10 years in a B7 RS4, time to move on finally. Looking at either new C Class estate or CLS shooting brake, circa 30k.

Prices between 350d's and 220d don't seem that much different, is the 350d worth the bit extra?

I can't help on the comparison between the two but I'm a year and 10k miles into a 350 Shooting Brake with premium pack. More than happy with it and my only possible regret is not going for premium plus for the stereo upgrade although I didn't want the keyless go that comes with.

Getting around 30 in pure town use and low to high 40's on a run. The 350 has plenty of torque so you may not miss the power of your RS4 too often but there is a difference in style - torque vs revs/ power.

i've had a CLS 250d s-b for almost 3 years now. Am considering a 350 to replace it as the 250 is just a bit rough when cold. I wouldn't want such a nice car with the 22o engine as it would feel underpowered for me.
