NTG 2.5 SatNav update ?

The SatNav in my CLS is the facelift NTG 2.5 with the card slot, it is a bit out of date, like getting on for ten years.

Is there a cost effective way to get it updated to a later map set ?

I believe I have the same system in my 2011 GL and would like the same answer.


I'm sure I read on one of the American Merc forums how they arranged for a group buy where one person stumps up the retail cost and does the upgrade, then sells it for 90% of the retail price. Next person uses it and sells it for 80% of the original retail price, etc etc...


An excellent, if slightly shady, idea if we can get enough of us interested. I'd be in..!!

Cost me £100 at local main dealer to get all the NTG 2.5 software updated in my wife's SLK.
