I need an expert/specialist to perform a pre purchase inspection in Germany on one of these magnificent cars.

The car is unrestored but has benefited from meticulous maintenance over the last 50 years.

Any suggestions?

Thank you smile

You can pm me for more details.

There was on company I know who worked on that era of cat so I imagine you could pay them to look over at it - Lymingtin Motors - based near staple corner - I think Wellington road springs to mind use to be owned by a guy called Roy

The Mercedes-Benz Classic Centre?

Kienle?

Both are in Stuttgart. Seems pretty obvious, surely?

I can recommend these guys, they have done some work on my 300 SEL 6.3 and they're experts on 600's.

I could fill a huge thread now just on the ups and downs of the last 6 months of looking for one of these cars.

From a £2.5 Million Landaulet at Tom Hartley Jnr...

http://www.tomhartleyjnr.com/used/1971/classic/mer...

to a £1.5M, better than new, standard 600 Pullman just restored by Brabus...

http://www.brabus.com/cars4sale/car_MB_600Pullman....

or a 6 Door with a 600K restoration...

http://www.mechatronik.de/en/trade/vehicles-on-off...

or un-restored from £125-250K.
