Which convenience battery for SL350?
Discussion
Hi folks,
The convenience battery in my 07, SL350 is well and truly borked - have tried bringing it back with a cleverer than usual smart-charger but no use. Car currently won't move out of park - research and code reader confirm it's the battery.
The one which was in there is a Varta but may have been discontinued - the serial number produces no match on Google.
Please advise which one I should get - the car's not been moved for 3 months (been away) and it needs moving.
Thank you.

The battery from Merc is around £90 I think or was when I replaced mine a couple of years ago. Just check first, but it was nowhere near as expensive as I thought it might be!
Smashing. It's caused lots of minor problems but once it stopped the car being moved it's got more serious.Wonderful GT though. Spent a long time choosing what to get and it's perfect for communing and multi-thousand mile Euro holidays.
