W220 W215 Speedo Illumination Question

Does this look like the speedo illumination has partially failed ?

I would want some discount if it has

I think so yes. the center mph circle should light up.

Part of it goes out when on cruise control (it give a visual check that cruise is set).

Its another CL common problem.
