Are E63's holding their money with the demise of the bigger V8.

Ah, I wish you hadn't asked.
This is how the value of my E63 has fallen.
First registered Nov 2013 rrp £74k
Purchase price Feb 2015 £50k. Mileage 7k. Supplied by MB main dealer.
Parkers value now approx £30k.

However, it is a terrific piece of kit, stonking performance and reasonable running costs all things considered. Reliable too.
Absolutely no plans to sell and anyone who wants the bigger engine won't be disappointed.

I am counting on them going down, the Biturbo E or CLS is a fair piece of kit, even on the main us E55 FB group they have a grudging respect for them, they spend wads on tuning 55's and then get "Walked" by a biturbo, shame there arent any significant numbers (are there any ?) E/CLS 500s of that generation with the 4 litre biturbo as with a remap they are pretty quick.

I think there are a few (30) E500 Blue efficiency autos out there on Howmanyleft so I guess they are that model and 20 or so CLS 500's, so only 50 cars to go at ! anyone got one of these ?

When I got mine on a MB lease in June 2013, I asked what the cash price would be and MB dropped £10k off the £74k RRP without being pushed, not sure what cash buyers (if there were any?!) generally parted with. My car went back in June 2015 and about two months later, it appeared in MB Glasgow (I'm London based) with the same 20k miles, with a sticker price of £39k. I did ask about buying it out but apparently that wasn't feasible due to having already leased it - maybe it's a VAT issue.

I assume MB auction off their cars within their network but the same car now probably has a sticker price of low £30's, no idea what it would be worth as a trade in but would guess high £20's.

It's a huge amount of car for the money, as is the F10 M5.
