Chaps, could I have your advice. After dreadful experience with MB service network I am looking for a good independent specialist. I have been given the card of Blackpool Automotive Mercedes Specialist at Spen Park Blackpool. Welcome thoughts if you have had any good/bad experiences. Thanks

I have used this guy on a couple of recent occasions having been recommended by someone in the trade. His hourly rate is £45. Both times I used him he seemed determined to save me money where he could but was thorough . He always seems busy with several clearly cherished MB's in the workshop. Does MOT's on site as well. So far so good and I will go back there.

That's really good feedback and I will go there. I have excellent specialists for my TVR and old MG, who really care about what they do, but my experience with the Merc has been appalling and very expensive. Big thanks. Ian

No problem. I'm afraid "Mercedes" and "expensive" go together like twins. Hope all goes well if you go to this guy. It did for me but you never know....
