SL63 AMG air con issue

Suddenly the a/c compressor doesn't seem to engage on my SL63 AMG 2013 model. Everything works fine except I get hot air. Any ideas for re-setting or similar? I tried the same on an McLaren 12C and they had a trick about using the key fob to lock the car for a few seconds and things were fine again.

It's probably got no gas in it. Low pressure switch will inhibit the compressor.

Have you had the gas level checked?
