Merc warranty discount

Hi Guys

Long shot but has anyone ever got a discount on an official tier 1 warranty, odds are I am going to have to buy one shortly and I wondered if there is anyone who managed to save any money?

I've never noticed any special offers on the warranty by MB, although I did consider putting the money to one side instead of buying it, this is a bit of a gamble.
I know if you buy a car through official MB outlets they do put a two year warranty on them but of course you pay a premium way beyond the value of the warranty.
