AMG Models and PCP GFV
Discussion
Exploring a view routes to swap out the family car and have been trawling through the C63 v C43 debate among other models.
The GFV on a 3 or 4 yr deal PCP is quiet dramatic compared to 4yr old C63 models within mercs network.
The previous C63 4yrs old retails approved used for around the £29k mark while looking at current model C63 the GFV is down at £18k (£16k for the C43) for this model.
I'm not close enough to merc and historically if they pitch these specifically low to ensure you have a lot of equity when you come to sell up. I'm well versed in PCP, specifcally across Audi / BMW.
Does anyone have experience of getting out of a 3/4yr old C63 and if so what's been your trade in value in comparison to the GFV ? It reads like there should be plenty of equity in there. ie GFV is £18k but retailing at £29k (I'm aware there is margin in this but not £11k !)
It pushes the Monthly payments up but if your guaranteed your deposit, and more, out at the other end it doesn't look too shabby. Sounds too good to be true, which usually means one thing...

GFV on a non S 63 coupe is circa 29, 35 for the S (8k miles per year).

Agree with the GFV of £29k if 3yrs (based on 10k couldn't pull 8k from merc website), 4yrs it's £23k. GFV on a non S 63 coupe is circa 29, 35 for the S (8k miles per year).
Used (old model) 4yrs are £30k (£23k GFV) and 3yrs are circa £35k (£29k GFV). Around 6/7k between used main dealer numbers and the GFV. Imagine miles/spec close this gap further, although comparing old and new probably isn't that scientific either.
Closer than I originally looked at, unsure where I pulled those GFVs from assumed the merc site but can't see them again.
I too found Mercedes rates on AMGs a bit strange to figure out. I took out a 2 yr PCP over a 3 yr because the monthly payments where almost half. As per another thread, looks like my idea at the time of a facelift in 2018 was right.
I think they are set so you have a few £k (maybe £5k) at trade in to go against a new car.
