E Class Coupe - 2015
Discussion
Folks looking for a little advice.
I've been looking at a used Coupe and ended up looking at Merc/BMW/Audi, had a test drive of an A5 3.0 TDI Quattro and while the power was great it just didn't click with me.
Ended up at Mercedes with the intention of looking at the last model C-Class Coupe but had a test-drive of a 15' Plate E-Class Coupe 220 CDI Bluetec instead and really like it!
But I have a couple of questions that I'm looking to clarify, most Spec's seem to suggest that by 2015 only SE and AMG Sport trim levels were available but this one seems to be "AMG Line" how does that compare?
Also the engine is the 220 CDI Bluetec which I understand has 174 BHP (a lot more than my awful 1.6D Volvo S60!) but also noticed a few 250 CDI's sitting around, would I notice the extra horses?

AMG Line is just the AMG trim as far as I know - mine is an AMG Line Edition (not ever sure what that means tbh)
They stopped doing the 250CDi in the E class and it was just the 220 so a 250CDi would be older. The only difference is that the 220 is 177Bhp and the 250 is 204 - it has two turbos. I had the 250 in and SLK and the 220 in my first E class coupe, however it;s a bigger car so I can't really comment on the performance difference. I've now got an otherwise identical 200 petrol and although on paper the performance looks similar and it has a tiny bit more power it actually feels a lot slower.
2016 AMG Line 220 is a nice motor.
