W220 Air Suspension Woes
Discussion
My W220 S320 CDI 2003 has an issue with the suspension
Its always been a bit too hard but this was due to the air suspension valve block not doing its job. It was replaced with a brand new valve block
There are no leaks in the system but these are the cars following characteristics:
In the morning the pump readjusts the car straight away when you put the ignition on (about 3-4 seconds). None of the 4 corners drop even after 2 weeks of sitting
When driving the suspension becomes harder but the worst is when i have 3 or more people in the car as it seems like its over compensating

I have a code of: C1133 Right front level sensor- Intermittent (there is no leaks from this side)

Whip the wheel off the right front and have a look at the level sensor, the little plastic dog bone that connects the sensor to the top arm may have come adrift giving it a false reading so the ECU doesnt know whats going on, not sure if the car tends to go higher in that scenario but that would be my first port of call.
The level sensors arent expensive or complex, think its just a variable resistor in a box, but first things first, have a look at it.
