Hi guys,

Had my 2011 C250 Sport CDI for a week now & the nearside dipped beam bulb has gone "pop".

I've ordered some new bulbs, but my question is relating to the dipped beam on the car.

When I am driving at night in an unlit section of road, the dipped beam seems to be WAY over to the left in a sort of thick reverse "L-shape" (if that makes sense) - there really doesn't seem to be much road lit up which doesn't encourage spirited driving at all.

Is it easy to adjust the height of the dipped beam (that is probably what it is) or maybe move the beam more central (to the right), rather than nothing in front & the verge lit up nicely!

Cheers

Ian

When I got my C220 the lights were pap, it turned out one of the bulbs wasn’t sat in the holder properly so the beam pattern was way off. Worth taking it out and putting it back to make sure it’s in the proper position.

I took it to a local garage who checked the alignment/height etc. & they said they were fine!

I think I will have to get under the bonnet to move the entire beam(s) up so I can actually see ahead of me at night!!

Okay - here's my question .....

2011 C250 CDI Sport

Dipped beam is shockingly low straight ahead/to the right/offside of the car - the verge is lit up nicely, but there it like an "L" shape of light just in front of the car with a massive black area directly in front/to the right of the bonnet, where there should be light.

Is it a case of adjusting the height using an allan/hex key in the white adjustment thing at the back/top of the offending light? I've read that the allen key adjust the height but further down if you use a Philips screwdriver, it'll adjust the sideways movement.

Any ideas?

Hope this question wasn't too vague!
