Hello
I have a W205 C220d.
Not the most fascinating of cars but it's a company car so I could do worse.
Anyhow, my problem is it steams up like a turkish sauna in the cold weather, which is more prevalent now.
I obviously use the heater and set it to the de-mist setting to point all the warm air at the windscreen, but it still doesn't really clear and the rear side windows steam up too.
1. Am I being an idiot and using the heater controls incorrectly? I have the temp set at 22 degrees, should it be higher? Car feels very very hot inside if I go warmer.
2. Or does it sound like something's wrong with it? I can feel warm air coming out of the dashboard nearest the windscreen but it just doesn't seem to clear the 'screen.
I recall an incident last winter on a very cold day where even after a 15 minute drive with the blowers on max at the windscreen, it still wouldn't clear....
Flippin' annoying so any advice before I potentially waste my time at a dealer would help.

Bread knife has the same car in an estate form, and I have the same problem. Its really annoying as there is a constant haze on the inside of the screen at this time of year. A blast of the demist button sorts it out for a bit but makes you sweat!
I've put it down to poor ventilation design.
