2018 C63 estate - questions

Couple of questions prior to March 2018, C63 estate arrival. Edition 1 decals on a non Edition 1 car - thoughts?? It’s not quite an AMG badge on a non AMG car, but it’s getting close to that territory!! Like the look, but don’t really need the Edition 1 itself!
And, drive settings. Couldn’t find this on previous forum posts, apologies if done to death elsewhere. I live in the country, with twisty, traffic free roads aplenty. Am I likely to keep in Sport mode, with full noise exhaust?! The C class manual reckons Sport + mode is for track use only? Really? Or is there plenty of exhaust noise in Comfort (I have the performance exhaust in spec). Good to get views of those already behind the wheel.

I'm not sure I read the Sport+ mode is for track use only. Race mode, however, quite possibly.
After the initial noise when starting up, the exhaust is quite muted in Comfort mode and Sport modes. You can turn the exhaust to 'Thor' mode when using either mode, but it's never the same as the noise you get in Sport+ at low revs. That said, I'm paying a 30-50% penalty in fuel consumption for using S+ almost exclusively.
I'm not really a fan of the Edition 1 decals and am really glad I didn't go for one of those cars.
PS If you do get one, they are stonking cars, although I have two tips: I found the Conti 5P's quite lifeless and not great at handling the sheer amount of torque, changing these for Conti 6's worked well (I suspect the Michelins are even better). I also discovered that going with the higher recommended pressure for the front tyres helped steering feel tremendously.

I’ve gone for the 63, not the ‘S’, so don’t think I get the Race mode. The manual does say that Sport + should only be used on the track, but good to know it can be ignored, albeit with a fuel penalty! Thanks re tyres, will bear that in mind. Presume I can ask for Conti 6s when I collect?
