Paddle shift retro fit?

I have got me an sl500 sl65 black replica - lovely looking and sounds awesome but would like to consider retro fitting paddle shifters to update the driving experience.
Can anyone recommend a specialist to carry this out - would prefer Central Scotland but would travel for the right expertise...

I might be wrong, but that sounds like one of those jobs that, if it can be done would cost thousands!!

There was a thread, I believe, on SLKWorld where somebody did exactly this on his 2005 SLK 171. I've seen it too!

You can buy a replacement paddles to go in place of the buttons on the back of the steering (if you have that steering wheel) if not you'll need to buy the right wheel.

I’m prepared to buy a new wheel but would really like a specialist to carry out the job as I fear I would be out my depth...

Search for G Paddles. They also sell on eBay. Easy DIY.
