Odd HRW issue

2002 W203 C270 CDI.

Everything works perfectly, no faults show up on dash.

As soon as the HRW is switched on I loose the radio stations,just noise as if the aerial (where ever that is?) has been disconnected.

Any ideas?

Is the aerial built into the rear screen (top two elements)

I think I'd start @ earthing and the aerial booster.

There is no visible aerial. Do all these Mercs have it built into the rear screen?
