E Class W213 service schedule

Hi,

I bought a pre-reg E220D last week. From what I can see, servicing is due every 15000 miles, is this correct? There's nothing in the service manual that has a service schedule showing when different fluids / filters etc should be changed - is a full service schedule available anywhere?

I think the onboard computer will work out, (based on how the vehicle is used), when it needs a service and 15k is a rough average.

I can't recall if it's 15k or 15.5k.

However, it's also annual, if you do less than 15/15.5k per year.

I tend to do a bit over 20k a year. Is the servicing variable then or fixed at 15/15.5k?

Also, how do I know when fluids / filters / cambelt etc need changing - am I relying on the car telling me?

It's 15.5K or 12 months, whichever comes first.

The Mercedes Electronic Service Sheet http://lite.servicemercedes.co.uk/ess/pc/ or MyService https://www.mymercedesservice.co.uk should tell you what needs doing as each service comes up but that depends on prior work being done on time and they can get messed up if the car's mileage and age get out of line (ie if you do very high or low annual mileage).

They don't have a cambelt.
