Sorry guys but after a couple of years of contemplation, procrastination and general annoying questions, I've bought a 500SL
No doubt there'll be a few more stupid questions to be asked, I'm putting a wish list of parts together at the moment.

Almandine I understand

Looks red in the adverts, wife thinks it looks a sort of purple pink and a girly colour when in the garage. Washed now and in the sun, slightly more reddy than pink.
