C63 question..!!!

Sometimes when starting my C63 W204, there is a slight tapping until warm.
Why is this..!!!

Get it looked at and don't be fobbed off by 'it's normal' could be a multitude of things.. basic home checks are correct oil grade used and upto level..

Not unknown for the M156. Do the search engine thing. And/or post on Merc owners clubs/forums.
Usually hydraulic tappets.

If its the hydraulic lifters, its fairly common with the M156 engine for them to be noisy if oil level is low and, or if the car hasn't been started in a while.

Hasn’t been started for a while, was ok after about 5 minutes.
