Just been belatedly watching NASA TV for last night's latest SpaceX take-off.
The on-screen telemetry shows that its 0-96 KPH / 60 MPH time is 9 seconds, meaning that most of our cars are faster. Admittedly, it would be quicker if going horizontally instead of straight up ... and it does max out at a somewhat higher top speed of 27,012 KPH / 16,882 MPH. But on what the magazines call the "all-important" 0-60 time, it's a little sluggish ¦:¬)
