2006 CLK 320 Head unit Upgrade
Discussion
Morning everyone.
I have just bought this 06 320 CLK to do a bit of mile munching. It's nearly 19 years old so lots of old tech. I would like to have Bluetooth and music streaming capability, preferably from linking to my phone. Has anyone done this with this era Merc or can anyone point me towards a replacement double din unit that doesn't cost mega bucks.
The car only has 25k miles and is mint so I don't really want to start ripping trim out or drilling holes if I can help it.
I will try to attach a couple of images to show what needs replacing. It has a CD autochanger and a quick google says this may be the route to getting what I want without dash changes.
Thanks for any help or recommendations.
Cheers
Brian

I can only see the photo of the outside of your car.
From having done a bit of disassembly on the dashboard of my C320, I suspect you would need to remove the gear lever surround, and various items around the head unit, perhaps including the central, face-level air vents. There will probably be YouTube videos on how to do it.
