Any owners of the 2025 onwards 250+ electric on here? Seems to have picked up lots of awards, I'm interested in any ownership experience.

Picked my car up on 22 Sep 2025.

No problems so far. What do you need info on.

Just general user stuff. What's it like to live with, any particular likes/dislikes learned through use..

Had a CLA 250 e (2024) but decided I fancied a full electric. Retired now so only need a granny charger (so far). I was caught out the first time I used the navigation to find a 800v charger as it is not set as standard in the navigation for only 800v so just needs setting up. Since then, not problems. I work on about 350 miles range as an estimate for my driving style.

Digital Extras - They seem to have changed as it has gone along as some, that on my car (Premium) were a one off payment are now showing as ending after 3 years or so. I liked the MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation in my first Mercedes so have continued with it. This plus dash cam and massage function were all extras extending for the life of the car.

The car is not super fast but I have no regrets buying it.

It did have a few teething problems at the time of collection, all minor with the main one being it would not take my profile. This was sorted within 48 hours by the software developers in Germany and I think the Netherlands. My car is a launch edition so I expected some minor problems.

Thanks for the feedback, useful stuff. I was also a little concerned about whether it is fast enough, but I guess it's all relative: I am old enough to remember when the Golf GTi MK1 and RS2000 were considered fast cars with 0-60 in a little over 8 seconds, so the 6.8 secs of the Merc isn't bad. As long as it's got enough oomph for overtaking, that's all need, and the cornering seems quite good. As an Alpine A110 owner I am also tempted by the all electric A390, but not sure I need that level of performance in a daily driver.

Never pay the inflated new list price.
Batches of pre-registered hardly used cars are sometimes offered at huge discounts.

Even if you like to buy your cars outright, use PCP for EVs and PHEVs.
You can then avoid the uncertainty of horrific depreciation.
The finance providers then carry that risk, which is why they are now walking around with burnt fingers.
Take a look at Companies House records. The leasing EV business is one way to lose a fortune.

That is the arithmetic out of the way.
As to how good the car is, I am afraid I cannot help.
