W177 TPMS in winter wheels

Hello,

Looking for some help. I'm after a second set of wheels for winter for a 2026 A35.

Do I need the TPMS sensors programmed or cloned to the car, or will the car just realise there is a new set of sensors there and start working after a few miles?

I've searched the internet and can only find info for 2015 era cars.
