W123 Central locking problems?

Chaps,

The locks do funny things, the drivers works fine but all the others stay locked. If you open the doors from the inside no problem but as soon as you shut it the plunger moves down and locks it again.

I understand this works from some sort of vacuum?

Any thoughts on how to get it working again?

a pipe may have simply come off, or you may have a leak. Sounds like a pipe to me.
