SL55 AMG or 996 C2?

My wife is currently running a 996 C2, but I fancy a change & am thinking of a SL55. Just wondering if anyone has experience of both these cars and which they'd prefer......both cars are under warranty.

I have driven an AMG but want to know how much fun can be had & how easy it is to live with.

Where else have I seen this post? Go for the Amg look good value at moment make sure you get warranty though as I think reliability was an issue with some of these cars.
