Quick few questions,

What are the running costs like on a 1.8 or 2.0 Mercedes 190E?

Is there anything (problem areas?) to look out for when buying?

Take a look at www.mercedes190.co.uk , I've got one of the 16v 190s and find it to be a fantastic resource. There's not a huge amount of memebers but enough dedicated people to always get an answer quickly. As far as I know 1.8s and 2.0s don't cost a huge amount to run, they're quite easy to work on from what I gather, parts arn't too expensive from places like GSF.
