Has recently developed a clunk when puting it into reverse - is there any UJ's on the prop shaft that can be easily replaced or is it likely to be a more expensive prob with gearbox?(4 speed auto)

No probs when engaging the forward gears (W124 Series)

Thx

That's pretty standard with older 124s. It can be the gearbox reverse mechanism, prop doughnut, engine mounts, gearbox mount, diff mount, worn rear suspension arm bushes or a combination of all of these
