bonnet release on an SLK
Discussion
Hi Folks
Girlie mate wants me to check her SLK over tomorrow - real basics like tyre pressures and the like. Just wanted a heads up on opening the bonnet (to check oil levels) so I don't look a complete gerbil when I attempt to lift the bonnet...so wherabouts is the bonnet release in the cockpit and is their any fannying around with release brackets through the grill/outside the car?
Sorry to sound naff but its been a long time since I have checked over a Merc (more beemer experienced).
Any advice appreciated.

Tricky cars them . First you must stand on one leg whilst rubbing your tummy with your left hand then reach in though the drivers door with your right hand and pull the brake pedal upwards three times whilst chanting the entry code (Mercs rule Beemers suck) and hey presto up it pops !
She will be dead impressed , you wait .

I'll give it a go but I'm not feeling confident... She will be dead impressed , you wait .
