08 C180 K Elegance - How much?
Discussion
I'm after some advice. Currently looking to buy my wife a used C180 Elegance from a MB main dealer. I've seen one in Glasgow at £19,993. It's an 08 plate (registered May 08), obsidian black with 3000 miles on the clock. I had a chat with the dealer and he was adamant that the car is at its best price. I was frankly surprised to get this response, especially with the current market. Needless to say I walked away. Is this car realistically priced? If not what should I be aiming to get the price down to?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Cheers

1, make sure what you are buying is the New model.
2, only buy auto.
3, look on Autotrader interactive there are hundreds on there and will help get a feeling for the current values.
4, look on mercedes-benzuk-passengercars also.
5, Their car is well over priced for a manual.
Mark.
Try the www.directmercedes.co.uk website - I picked my E-Class up from their Manchester branch last weekend and secured the deal at several thousand less than Glasgow had advertised for a lesser spec car.
I bought my previous car from MB in Glasgow so did try them for the new car, they really didnt seem that keen for the business, firstly telling me they'd taken a deposit on the car I was looking at (its still up for sale 3 weeks later!), said they'd find something similar and call me, no call back as yet - I can only assume they're doing quite good business right now as they're lack of enthusiasm to help me or negotiate on price certainly suggests this!
