Indie W Lonon?

Hi chaps

Can anyone recommend a good value indie for some work on my W124 in West London / Berks?

Just had it serviced at Klass of Fulham who were great but £85 an hour which is a bit steep I think when I only pay £50 an hour for my Porsche specialist.

Looked on Google and they have shocking customer feedback. Seemed good when I spoke with them though. Forgot to ask hourly rate - anyone any ideas?

MercServices in Tooting (http://www.mercservices.co.uk/index.html) just did a service on my W124 following a recommendation from a friend who used to work for Mercedes. Wasn't that cheap, but then mine's a 500E, so hardly standard fare. They did an excellent job - rang to go through extra jobs they thought needed doing, kept me advised on progress, and were keen and enthusiastic. They even collected the car from East London for me.

SS used to service it for the previous owner, who was always pleased with their work. I only didn't take it back there as Weybridge is just too far away.

Hi,

I had my W124 serviced (or was going to be) in an Indie on the Park Royal estate. I won't go into the details but they lied....then before they even started any work, they demanded after five days, £60 to give my key back. I said i'd happily burn the place down if they didn't hand it over. Now.

Some places are very unscrupulous. So the unnamed one on the Park Royal estate, stay well away from.
