hi everyone, what kind of money would you expect 2 pay for a 2007 cl65 amg in the current credit difficulty.
have heard of some horror stories on the audi, aston, ferrari forums about people trying 2 get rid of thier cars.
a friend of mine was recently offered a cl63amg 2007, with all the toys for 54k,surely the cl65amg would not fair much better.

also have any of you had some terrible trade in values?

Been reading the Porsche forum on here and the lads on there are in the same predicament, they are loosing too. Im afraid its the climate today, you have to bite the bullet and acept what the dealers offer or hang on to it.

Crap if you own one now, great if you are in the market to buy now

There's a pre-facelift SL65 AMG for sale at my local MB main dealer. 28k miles on clock and a 2004 car, IIRC.
£150,000 brand new. It came onto the the market at £59,995 and dropped to £54,995 after juts a week. It's been on the market for two further weeks, and has dropped to £49,995! eek
With such a drop in a short space of time, I can only assume they've had zero interest in it.
Being in the market for a car, I can't wait to take advantage when prices hit rock bottom wink

No, it's the one for sale in the Robinsons Group. More specifically at Norwich. For some reason it comes under Robinsons Cambridge in the PH classifieds.
And just a correction - it's currently priced at £49,990

I would only belive that when the car disappears from the classfieds and/or their website.
They told me an E63 estate, a C63 and an SL55 had sold. In actual fact, it had been moved from their Norwich dealer to their Cambridge dealer!

Wow, that is a very low price for a new shape CL63 AMG. I bought a S320cdi a few months ago right before these kind of cars started depreciating fast and could have got a proper AMG for very similar kinds of money if only I had waited!

Where was your mate offered this from? Was it privately/through a friend or was it through a dealer? I'm struggling to find CL500's for that cheap on autotrader let alone CL63's.

Cheers

The guy who bought that brought it in to our place on Saturday for a quick check over; it needs a couple of bits but was exceptional value for money.

[ hello matc how are you finding trade at the moment? looks like the sl63amg seem to be hard to shift with quite a ew going on as demos. im quite shocked at the amount of c63amgs in stock with a lot of dealers./quote]

It's a bit unpredictable to say the least, some weeks we can only manage to sell a couple but we have just had the best week the dealerships ever had!! With reference to the SL63's, MB have introduced new standards with the amount of AMG's each market area run's, we have to run 3, one of which must be an SL. I would imagine this is pretty similar across the country, hence a lot being registered as demo's. Although it definately doesn't have the largest audience at the moment.

I'm also quite surprised with the amount of C63's in the dealer network at the moment, it's well priced for such an awesome car. I see you've p/x'd yours, have you still got the other one? What did you p/x the one for?

also just seen the new e class coupe on a site looks amazing cant wait to c the e63 amg coupe in the flesh. /quote]
