Having now finally found a C43 i was surprised at the insurance premium. £595 fully comp with business use with privelege.
i would really appreciate any suggestions for alternatives. i used the price comparison site but understand sometimes there are freak prices available offerinjg big discounts.
thanks in advance

My C36 is well under half your quote with Morethan insurance . Mine`s limited to 4000 miles per year though and the car lives in an alarmed garage ( at a good address!) . Being over 35 helps too !

i tried morethan £795. im 38 and the last 4 cars have been 911'S incl a turbo which was only £1000.i assume it is due to the cost of repair in the event of a claim.

£600 doesn't sound too bad.

Hi

My c36 costs £299 per year and mileage is limited to 8000miles, also it is not garaged either, the excess is £750 and thats with the privilage. (I am 32 aswell)
The reason they cost more to insure is becauce they are classed as custom cars as they are built to order from a c280 sport.

Good luck

Adrian Flux are good value. Direct Line weren't too bad either until they had to pay me out for the C43 stolen from outside my house....and then I had to take them to the Financial Ombudsman to recover the true value of the car...so I'd hesitate in recommending them....
