I've fancied one of these for a while.
Now it seems you can get a 1999/2000 one for about £7-8K.

I'm worried about running costs.
insurance and urban fuel consumption aren't a worry.

Anyone know what servicing costs are like (ideally at an independnt)? What's fuel consumption like on the motorway at a steady 80mph? Do they have any known problem areas? What about corrosion? What's the car tax for them?

I'd love one of these cars but I'm terrified it'll end up costing me a fortune.

Thanks in advance!
