SLK350 and 55AMG

What are the problems to look out for when buying either an SLK350 or SLK55??

Did they revamp the engines post-07??

The old 350 engine had around 272 bhp whereas the new so-called sports-engine
ahs around 300, it gets rather good reports.
For the SLK55: I do not know of any significant change,BUT my second engine
on the 55 was much better ;-)
Otherwise never had any big problems for 60,000 miles,except the voltage-regulator, once it worked then emptied the battery twice, till they found it
and gave me a new batt. on top :-)

Enjoy the cars anyway.And have a close look at the service quality of your
dealer.
