Hi all, I am looking at a S55 AMG tomorrow and am wondering how i go about getting the full spec, and if anyone on here can look it up for me? The reg number is FV52HNM and the chassis is WDB2200742A332515. Any help would be great!

Thanks,

Matt

Vin decoder days:
Datacard for VIN WDB2200742A332515 is not found
1) VIN was misspelled in the request form;
2) VIN was erroneously read from vehicle body or documents;
3) VIN is not of an original vehicle and was forged by criminals;
4) The vehicle was produced in late 2005 or 2006, and is not included yet in our database

Are you sure it's the correct number? (error is in the last 6 digits, the rest look OK). I can tell it's the SWB AMG version but I can't tell you any of the options, or the power output, it looks to be on the cusp between the 2002 367 bhp and 2003's 500bhp. Suspect it's the latter.

Whilst it was registered in Nov 02, I think this:
803 Change of year of model, last figure shows new model year

means it is a full fat 500bhp version. It may be worth checking with the dealer to make sure it is as it has a huge impact on value.

You've a couple of good options on it - keyless go and telly are good. The vendor of mine hadn't a clue it had keyless go - the giveaway is a big silver button on the gearknob.

What are they asking?

I've just run a check on the Merc system, it lists the following options:

Brilliant Silver
Exclusive Grey Nappa Leather
Parktronic
Electric Rear Seats
Memory Seats
Heated + Ventilated Front Seats
Glass Sunroof
Dynamic Front Seats
ABC Suspension
Comand
Rear Roller Blind
Tinted Infared Protective Glass
Bi-Xenon Lights
Burr Walnut Wood
Bose Sound Upgrade
Remote Control for Comand
CD Changer
Nokia Mobile Phone
TV Tuner
Rear TV Screen
Closing-aid for Doors
Keyless-Go

Some of the above will have been standard, but it doesn't seem to be missing any significant options.

Active body control. I think the only extra cost options you have are the tvs and keyless go. Most of the rest are standard stuff.

Hi
Car was bought for me to drive and its fantastic goes like a train
Have checked with MB for any outstanding recalls and all looks good
unless your system knows better?
Are there any Mods or adjustments worth doing? I know on some cars often small tweaks to the air boxes etc can make a big difference.
