I'm after an R129 SL. Newer the better. Must be below 50k miles. Any ideas?

The sl shop would be a good start although you may find them a touch over priced compared to classified adds.

There aren't any: or at least, not very many good ones come up for sale. The dealers rarely carry them (but do check), the specialists don't seem to go for them much (but check Ironside and Cheshire Classic) and the ones that turn up on Autotrader are mixed at best. In years of looking I have seen maybe three late model SL500s that would be worth even considering. When I bought my own, back in 2003 when dealers still stocked them, I had to look all over the country for six months before finding a decent one.
