Alarm problems W reg A class.

A few months back the alarm on my other halfs A class started playing up.
it started going off during the early hours of the morning. Whether i dis-armed or re-armed the alrm it still sounded.Eventually it stopped. it hasnt dione it for a few months until today.Same thing again. Tried everything with the fob,but still no joy.I thought i would disconnect the battery in order to re-set the alarm. I left it for a few minutes then re-connected.No joy. Its still going off. Any ideas anyone?.
