sl350 03 srs light on help ma boab!!!

This could be a recall problem with the wires under the seats.
Need to get Merc to check it.

hi mate
i had the same problem on my slk350 i know its a different modle but a lot of the systems are the same.
it was a faulty air bag contact ring on mine it fits under the steering wheel
took it to my local dealers and thay did it under warranty even though the car was out of warranty

Mine was a faulty sensor in the drivers side seat belt mechanism. The bit where you stick the silver bit when you buckle up. HTH

I had that on my SL500 (R129) so I took it to Automotive Services in Dunfermline for the MOT and they plugged it in and ran a diagnostic check which cancelled the light. It's never been back and they never charged me for it either

So it might not be as serious as you think, but I would get it checked asap.
