There's a thrumming noise from the front of my car which is fitted with the 19" AMG wheels. The dealser reckons its buckled wheels, but there's no vibration of any sort nor have I hit potholes that I'm aware of - anyone else had this problem?

Also is there a source of mail order wipers out there?

To be sure about the alloys have them checked by your local tyre man,
spin each one in turn having cleaned the inside edge of the alloy it will
be obvious if one is bent. Tyres also can be out of true so check them to.
If its a wheel bearing the noise will change with load.
Perhaps you may tell us how the noise occurs eg speed, engine speed or
similar.

Doesnt increase with load and bearings have been checked. It's most noticable at 20 - 25MPH, but I suspect that other road noise takes over at higher speeds.

Anyone got a wheel / tyre expert in the Bury, Greater Manchester area they can recommend?
