Would like to buy some AMG rims for an 'X' reg CLK 320.

Hi guys,
the alloys on my grandfathers' car are looking extremely tatty and i thought as a gift i would purchase him some AMG rims for the car to freshen it up.
What size should i be looking at and where should i be looking to buy a set?
I would prefer used but mint condition obviously!

Have you thought about getting the original rims refurbed? I obviously don't know your grandad but maybe your taste in wheels might not be the same as his so maybe keeping the original might be a good idea?
As for secondhand then ebay is your friend, www.mbclub.co.uk have a section where members often post up links to good buys spotted on ebay and I've seen AMG wheels on there frequently.

Do you have a motac near you? theres a few of them dotted around scotland, dont know about anywhere else. with a bit of haggling I got brand new E55amg replicas and budget make but touch wood good performing and long lasting 225/45/18 tyres for £515 including bolts, locking bolts, centrecaps, metal valves and shiny valve caps. suits the w208 lines nicely
