ML W163 430 water leak

My car appears to have a leak from underneath. Its dripping just above and to the rear of the nearside front wheel. The water is clean and the engine bay is dry. It may be coming from under the air filter area. Had the A/C on today which i dont really use, would this have any bearing on said leak.
