Towing with 'Sport' models

Looking for a new commuter tool, would also like it to be able to occaisionally tow in the future.
Like some of the Merc range, (still deciding on size of car), which covers C, E and CLS (all prob with 320CDi engine. Aesthetically like the C/E in sport trim, but once I add this there's no option to fit a tow pack.. and no option at all to do so on the CLS.
Is this just due to body work issues? Has anyone had experience of having tow bars fitted to these models?

Are you talking brand new?
Retro fits for mercs are very expensive, IIRC we quoted a customer with a S320 almost 5grand to fit a genuine tow-bar to his car.
A lot of people get them fitted elsewhere, although the only problem most people have is the fact they get in the way of the central parktronic sensors... if applicable.
