Flashing a SAM unit

Before I phone the Merc garage in Mcr I wanted to gain the thoughts of PH first.

The load cover will not rise in the estate and I have been told that the SAM unit needs flashing, is this a five minute job? Ideas on costs? I did not want to spend too much on a small fault.

Not heard of people flashing the Rear SAM on them for that problem, usually the motors that go.

However if flashing the SAM is what they've said, no it isn't a big job. I expect the update will take no more than 10 mins. About half hour total.
