I'm emigrating in a few weeks and need to get rid of my SL350, but the sort of offer I have received is a distance short of what I have been given to expect by my research. I want to sell it to the trade as it needs an MOT and is 2500 miles short of a service, and I have neither the time nor the inclination to do it myself. Can anyone give me an idea of what sort of money a trader is likely to go to on it? Indeed, if you're a trader please feel free to get in touch if you're interested.

The car is an 04/04 SL350 in tellurite with dark grey leather, panoramic roof, COMAND, phone prep, 5 spoke 18" wheels and FSH. It has done 45,000 miles and I am its second owner. It's finance and HPI clear, has six months tax and as I say, MOT is due now although I'm aware of no reason why it won't pass first time.

Cheers in advance for assistance.

You dont say what you have been offered but from the trade I would expect offers around the high teens to 20k mark. What are you expecting?

I was hoping to get around the £20-21K mark; so far I've been offered £17500 and £18500. Am I being unreasonable in my expectations?
