C55 Electronic Oil Measurement

Gentlemen,
Is there a precise way of measuring the volume of oil in the engine using the electronic measurement system?
Add one litre, add two litres doesn’t sound terribly precise for a C55!
Is there a fancy way of manipulating the steering wheel control buttons to reveal some detail?
(I haven’t got a dipstick- before anyone asks!).
