R107 - Classic Cars article July 2000 - can anyone help?

Hi all

I'm thinking of buying a R107 SL in the next few months, so I'm reading as much as I can before I go to look at cars for sale. There was a comparison of various R107 models in the July 2000 issue of "Classic Cars" mag, but back issues are not available.

Can anyone help with either a photocopy or a scanned version of the article?

Obviously. I'd be happy to cover any copying/postage costs.

Sorry can't help with the original article. I'm fairly sure the Mercedes Enthusiast mag have done similiar articles though. Offhand, I'd say you are better to go for a facelift car which I think came out in 1985. The best compromise would be the 300SL however I would buy on condition first. Needless to say rust is a major issue, particularly the sills and the engine bulkhead.
