sls colour

i have my name down for a sls amg one of the first ones and was wondering what colour best suits the car i have short listed a few colours,

imola grey with black leather

black with black leather

alubeam silver with black or

iridium silver with red leather.

i think the black will look stunning and be safe just in case i decide not to keep it.

please let me know what you think and what colour you would go for if you had the chance.

I think Mercedes have missed a trick by not not offering the blue and white plaid interior of the Moss / Jenkinson 300SL though .

Are they not offering Designo with the SLS? I thought you could have pretty much any colour and colour combo you wanted.

But I' surprised they won't the customer decide what colour they want their car to be on such an expensive car - boo and hiss to Mercedes!

Lucky man. I see the SLS beat the Nissan GTR and the 997 Turbo in Car Magazine's test this month.

040 Black with the designo woven leather in tan for me, please.

If it were available, I'd take non-metallic battleship grey over date leather.

Second thoughts: plaid check cloth, definitely.

Not that I enjoy the privilege of being in the position of being able to ponder such choices and so my opinion is largely irrelevant...but if I were..there would be no other choice?

I think you'd be safe with either black or silver, but I would not repeat the silver/berry red of my SL55. Seemed a good idea at the time...
